Monthly Crafting Book Club for May – Five Little Monkeys

This month we focused on Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed or otherwise.  The series of books from Eileen Christelow is so fun to read with children.

Monthly Crafting Book Club for May - Five Little Monkeys - Encourage children's literature by reading and doing a book or craft to go with it. This month we are celebrating Five Little Monkeys.

This is a monthly series where a group of bloggers get together and create an activity or craft to go with the book.  Children’s literacy is so important.  We need to set our children up for success and nurture their skills for reading as much as we can ,what better way to have some fun than by reading the book and then doing some crafts to go with it!  If you are a blogger and want to join us please join the group!  If you do any of the crafts and activities and want to share with us the hashtag #monthlycraftingbookclub or please tag me on instagram (@raisingfairiesandknights), twitter (raisingfairies) or Facebook so I can share too!  We love to see people having fun with our activities!

In January we did Barnyard Dance by Sandra Boynton, in February If you Give A Moose A Muffin by Laura Numeroff, in March we did ABC’s by Dr. Seuss, April was Piggy in The Puddle by Charlotte Pomerantz.  Check out past months for great craft ideas too and some new books to read.

I love the idea of working on a craft with a book. We have a Five Little Monkeys Finger Puppet book we love. Most of these are beyond my little one’s abilities for now, but I will definitely be saving these ideas for later.

I love how you are always crafting with you daughter. When mine was small we did the same. Have you ever tried the Ed Emberly fingerprint drawing books?

Hello Web Admin, I noticed that your On-Page SEO is is missing a few factors, for one you do not use all three H tags in your post, also I notice that you are not using bold or italics properly in your SEO optimization. On-Page SEO means more now than ever since the new Google update: Panda. No longer are backlinks and simply pinging or sending out a RSS feed the key to getting Google PageRank or Alexa Rankings, You now NEED On-Page SEO. So what is good On-Page SEO?First your keyword must appear in the title. Then it must appear in the URL.You have to optimize your keyword and make sure that it has a nice keyword density of 3-5% in your article with relevant LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing). Then you should spread all H1,H2,H3 tags in your article.Your Keyword should appear in your first paragraph and in the last sentence of the page. You should have relevant usage of Bold and italics of your keyword. There should be one internal link to a page on your blog and you should have one image with an alt tag that has your keyword….wait there’s even more Now what if i told you there was a simple WordPress plugin that does all the On-Page SEO, and automatically for you? That’s right AUTOMATICALLY, just watch this 4minute video for more information at. Seo Plugin
