Piggies in the Puddle – Monthly Crafting Book Club for April

For this month’s Monthly Crafting Book Club in the spirit of Spring, or what should be Spring here, we kind of skipped Spring and went from Winter to Summer, usually it is messy and rainy in Spring, so this is a good book to focus on for this season.

Monthly Crafting Book Club for April - As April's #monthlycraftingbookclub book we focused on Piggies in the Puddle. Come check out the games and activities all the bloggers came up with.

I am so lucky to have a great group of bloggers to join me each month in the Monthly Crafting Book Club and come up with fantastic games and activities to encourage children’s literacy each month.  Literacy is a big deal to me, my mom worked with an adult literacy organization trying to help adults read and I have learned through her how hard it can be as an adult with low-literacy skills.  It is so important to do everything we can to encourage our young ones to get excited about books and thus we combine activities and crafts to get their excitement going beyond just reading the story.

This is so ridiculously adorable!! I love the finished product with the “baby piggy” words on it! I would frame that. This is the perfect book and project for Spring!

Hi! I know this is kinda off topic but I was wondering which blog platform
are you using for this site? I’m getting fed up of WordPress because I’ve had issues with hackers and I’m looking at alternatives for another platform.
I would be awesome if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.

Woah! I’m really digging the template/theme with this website.
It’s simple, yet effective. Lots of times it’s challenging to acquire that “perfect balance”
between superb usability and appearance. I have to admit that you’ve done a fantastic job with this.
Furthermore, the blog loads super fast for me on Firefox.
    Excellent Blog!
